Terms of Use
These terms cover your use of the mulah.co.za website. They aren't a loan agreement.
1. About these terms
These terms apply when you use https://mulah.co.za (the "website"). By using the website you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the website.
Mulah is a trading name of MyMulah (Pty) Ltd, NCRCP12668, Reg. 2019/386913/07. In these terms "we", "us" and "Mulah" mean MyMulah (Pty) Ltd.
2. What the website is for
The website gives information about our short-term loans and lets you contact us or start an application. The information is general. It isn't financial advice and it isn't an offer of credit. A loan is only granted if we approve your application and you accept the credit agreement.
3. Loan terms are separate
The terms of any loan, including the amount, fees, interest, repayment date and your rights, are set out in the pre-agreement statement and quotation and in the credit agreement we give you. Those documents apply to your loan. If something on the website differs from them, the credit agreement applies.
Our fees and interest stay within the limits set by the National Credit Act. Use the calculator or ask for a quotation to see the cost of a specific loan before you decide.
4. Who can apply
Our loans are for South African citizens who meet our eligibility requirements, which are set out on the website. We may decline any application. We check your credit record and affordability as the law requires, and we won't grant a loan that would be reckless credit.
5. Using the website
You agree to:
- give correct and complete information
- use the website only for lawful purposes
- not interfere with the website, break its security or collect data from it by automated means
- not pretend to be someone else
6. Your personal information
We handle your personal information as set out in our privacy policy. By submitting information through the website you confirm that it's yours or that you're allowed to share it.
7. Calculators
The loan calculator on the website gives an estimate only. The final cost of a loan is shown in your quotation and credit agreement.
8. Intellectual property
The website content, design, logo and the name Mulah belong to us or our licensors. You may view the website and print pages for your own personal use. You may not copy, sell or republish content without our written permission.
9. Links to other websites
The website may link to other websites, such as the National Credit Regulator. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content.
10. Availability
We try to keep the website available but can't promise it will always work without interruption or errors. We may change or remove content at any time.
11. Our liability
As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for loss arising from your use of the website, your reliance on its general information, or interruptions, viruses or errors. This doesn't limit any rights you have under the National Credit Act, the Consumer Protection Act or any other law that can't be excluded.
12. Complaints
If you have a complaint, see our disputes or complaints page and our code of practice. You can also contact the National Credit Regulator or the National Consumer Tribunal where the law allows.
